Top 10 Resident Concerns & Priorities
In no particular order...
1. Calling both lifts to your floor at the same time
Besides the inconvenience caused to others, excessive use will ultimately lead to more repairs, and lessen the life of the lifts. Bear in mind, new lift prices (todays dollars) - $240,000-$270,000 each!
2. Dogs barking
Dogs on balcony barking incessantly causes annoyance to not only your Centra neighbours, but our neighbours either side of us.
3. Dogs entering/leaving the building through front door
Please do not walk pets through front door. Use basement. When using basement, use side exit door instead of sliding gate. This will help reduce maintenance costs.
4. Water & other liquids dripping onto units below
Hosing balcony xx
Watering plants xx
Dog urine xx
5. Large boxes placed in bins & non-recycleable rubbish being placed in recycle bins
Large cardboard & not compacting boxes xx
6. Leaving mud/dirt in car wash bay

7. Residents continually parking in visitor carpark
Our Bylaws state clearly that residents are not park in visitor car spaces.
8. Loose glass bottles down garbage shute
Glass bottles etc thrown loose down the bin shute create significant noise to those who reside along side the garbage shute. Glass will also break when falliung from height, whcih has caused glass to spray out of the bin onto the bin room floor.
9. Entering/leaving basement
When walking in or out of basement carpark, use side door and not the sliding vehicle gate. Due to ongoing wear and tear, regular maintenance is required, which is not cheap.
