Ceiling down lights
All units are fitted with the same internal ceiling downlights.
Philips DN029B-2 LED8/CCT Downlight.
Specs -
10watt. 800 Lumens
With option of: 3000K (Warm White) 4300K (Cool White) 6500K (Day Light) - Our lights are set to 4300K.
85mm cut out (Hole in ceiling)
The lights are fitted with a three-pin plug, and simply plugs into a three-pin socket located in the ceiling cavity.

Electrical Circuit Breaker Box
Typical meter box inside units.
This is your circuit breaker box, the main hub for your home's electricity. It is located in a white electrical box mounted on a wall in your unit (locations vary).
Its job is to safely distribute power to your lights and outlets. If you overload a circuit, or an appliance beomes faulty, one of these RCB switches will trip and turn off the power as a safety measure.
Main Electrical Isolator Switch
The Main Isolator Switch is used to completely disconnect all power into your unit. It is also in the Electrical cupboard. Generally, only electricians would need access this swicth, however if there is an urgent need to isolate the power to your unit, the key to the cupboard is held by the Caretaker. The BC Committee also has access to this cupboard.

Digital Electricity Meter
Your electricity meter is in the 'Electrical' cupboard near the lifts on your floor. They are a digital meter which allows electrical providers to read your power usage remotely. Key to these cupboards is held by the Caretakers. The BC Committee also has access to this cupboard.
