Your Unit Key
Your unit door key is a security key. Your door key can only be duplicated by 'J.Barnes Locksmith' because it is a restricted key. This means the key's design is legally protected and requires authorization from the owner of the key system (Centra BC) before any copies can be made. This ensures only authorized individuals can get duplicates, preventing theft and unauthorized access.
To cut a restricted key, the JBarnes needs written permission from the BC Committee. This permission requires that two committee members authorise each request for a new key.
Your door key will open;
1. Your front door
2. Bin Room & Recycle Room roller doors
3. Entry to your floor via fire stairs.
4. Entry to basements 1 & 2 via fire stairs.
5. Hobby Room
Keys are approx. $37 (inc. GST) each, plus $23 package & delivery (as of March 25).

Your Proximity Key Fob
Your 'remote door opener/Fob' is a two in one device that will give you the following access;
Swipe (activate sensor) to enter;
1. Front and rear doors.
2. Activate the lift to your floor.
3. Basement entry/exit door (near sliding gate).
4. Gym
5. Pool Room
3. Basement sliding gate (press button on Fob to open gate).
Our access control system was installed by 'Brisbane Alarm Monitoring Security Services (BAMSS)' who have an office in Cleveland, however the purchasing of Fobs is via BC Committee.
Fobs are approx. $95 (inc. GST) each, plus $200 technician fee. (as of May 24)
The technician fee is because BAMSS have to attend our building to add the additional Fob to our access control system.
