** WHEN YOU NEED TO USE A LIFT - PLEASE ONLY CALL ONE LIFT, NOT TWO.

To prevent unnecessary wear and tear on our lift systems, do not press both call buttons simultaneously, press only one button.

Calling both lifts unnecessarily is tough on the equipment and leads to additional power costs, extra maintence and very expensive repairs.

IT ALSO INCONVENIENCES OTHER RESIDENTS !

LIFT SAFETY RULES

Lift call-outs are very expensive, and the cost is shared by everyone. By following a few simple rules, we can avoid unnecessary charges:

  • Holding the door open with your arm or leg will trigger the alarm and may even disable the lift as a safety measure. Push and hold the DOOR OPEN button if doors need to be held open for a short time.

  • Never force the lift doors open or block them with objects, your arm, or any part of your body.

  • If you need more time, let the doors close and then press the call button again.

  • When a lift is being serviced or used for moving furniture, a lock symbol will appear above the lift.

🔥 Do NOT use lifts during a fire evacuation.

Schindler (our service contractor) will charge a minimum of $720 to attend and rectify any fault caused by incorrect operation.

Lift Noticeboard

There is a clear perspex notice holder mounted on the inside of each lift. It can be used by anyone who wishes to advertise a social event in the building. It will also be used for important notices that affects the building or residents.

Note: Please ensure notices are not displayed too early or left up for too long, as this reduces their impact.
