Gym

Welcome to Centra's private gym facility, a convenient and well-equipped space for all residents to focus on their health & fitness.

To ensure the gym remains a safe, clean, and enjoyable amenity for everyone, please familiarise yourself with the equipment and the rules of use outlined below.

Gym Rules & Etiquette

Your cooperation helps keep this facility at its best. Please follow the below rules at all times.

Before Your Workout

  1. Appropriate Attire: Proper athletic clothing and closed-toe sports shoes should be worn. No work boots, thongs or loose foot wear on treadmill. This is for your safety and the care of the equipment.

  2. Use a Towel: For hygiene reasons, please bring a clean towel to use as a barrier between you and the equipment (e.g., on benches and backrests).

  3. Be Prepared: Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. No other food or drink is permitted.

During Your Workout

  1. Be Considerate: If there are a number of users, please limit your time on cardio machines (Treadmill, Rower, Spin Bike) to 20 minutes if others are waiting.

  2. Handle Weights Safely:

    • Do NOT drop the weights. This can damage the weights, the floor, and is a safety hazard.

    • Be aware of your surroundings and other people in the gym.

After Your Workout

  1. WIPE DOWN ALL EQUIPMENT: This is our most important rule. After you have finished with a piece of equipment, use the provided sanitising wipes or spray and paper towels to thoroughly wipe down all surfaces you touched, including handles, seats, benches, and screens.

  2. Return All Equipment:

    • Place dumbbells back on the weight rack in their correct order.

    • Return the adjustable bench to the flat position.

    • Remove any weight plates or attachments from the home gym station and return them to their holders.

  3. Power Down: Turn off the treadmill screen when you are finished.

  4. Take Your Belongings: Please remember to take your towel, water bottle, and any other personal items with you when you leave.

**PLEASE TURN OFF AIR-CONDITIONER, FAN & LIGHTS BEFORE LEAVING**

General & Safety

  1. Report Faulty Equipment: If you notice any equipment that is damaged or not working correctly, please cease using it immediately and report it to the Building Manager.

  2. Residents Only: The gym is for the exclusive use of residents.

  3. Age Limit: For safety and insurance reasons, children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our gym a clean, safe. Enjoy your workout!
