Function/Pool Room

Room Guidelines

The Centra Function Room is available for the enjoyment of all residents and includes a reasonably equipped kitchen with a full-sized fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, and dishwasher.  There is also a BBQ on the pool terrace, which is also available to all residents.

While you may think of it as an extension of your own home — please remember that it also belongs to every other resident in the building. 

To ensure the space is enjoyable for all, please follow the guidelines below.

Booking the room for in-house social events (ie Centra residents):

• To make a reservation, write the following details in the booking diary provided on the kitchen bench.
  • Name
  • Unit Number.
  • Contact Phone Number
  • Event details (optional)

 By doing this it ensures everyone is aware an event is being held.

Booking the room for family/private gathering:

• The room can be booked for family gatherings.

• Large private parties are generally not allowed, so please check with the Body Corporate Committee first.

• To make a booking, write the following details in the booking diary provided on the kitchen bench.

  • Name

  • Unit number

  • Contact number

  • Type of gathering (ie family event, social group etc)

  • Approx. number of guests 

• Bookings are generally limited to one session only, either: morning, afternoon, or evening (maximum of six (6) hours).

• Exclusive bookings are not available on Public Holidays (e.g. Easter, Christmas Day). On these days, the room remains open to all residents.

• Please note that bookings are for the Pool/Function Room only, and do not include exclusive use of the   Pool Terrace. The terrace is a shared space for all residents to enjoy, so it should always remain open for everyone’s use.

Using the Room

• Keep doors closed if the air conditioning is on, and please turn it off after use.

• Leave the room clean and tidy:

  • Sweep and mop floors if required.

  • Return furniture to its original position.

  • Clean the kitchen and empty the dishwasher.

  • Empty bins and replace liners.

• No pets (including visitors’ pets) are allowed in the Function Room at any time.

Consideration for All
If you are hosting large or frequent functions for visitors, we kindly ask you to consider making a small contribution towards electricity, bathroom supplies, and general upkeep.
